Private jet charter for tailored itineraries
Request a quote for your private flight
Thank you! We have received your request and will contact you shortly.
The private jet starts with the mission
Every private aviation request starts with the itinerary and the operational requirements of the journey. Timings, number of passengers, baggage, available airports and onward connections can all influence the most suitable solution.FlairFly is an aviation boutique and independent private aviation broker. We are not an air operator: for each request, we identify and coordinate suitable solutions available through qualified operators. To start a quote, we only need the date, departure point, destination and number of passengers. When the itinerary is more complex, we can work from the outset with alternative airports, flexible timings, onward flights and related services. The appropriate jet category is determined by the itinerary and the operational requirements of the request. Once suitable options have been identified, we check availability and terms with the operators involved and coordinate the request through to departure. When a private jet may be the right solution
A private flight can be the right solution when the passenger’s schedule does not fit easily around scheduled airline services, or when the itinerary involves a combination of destinations that is difficult to manage with commercial connections. For a CEO or executive team, this may mean arranging a day with several meetings in different locations. For a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, it may involve coordinating travel for an executive, a family or a group while keeping timings, baggage and onward connections under control. For a Family Office or concierge, it may instead involve a travel programme covering several people, properties, hotels, yachts or destinations that are not efficiently served by commercial aviation. Requests may include, among other things:- corporate travel, meetings and events
- multi-city itineraries
- family travel
- international connections
- stays at resorts or access to remote destinations
- itineraries where privacy and control over the schedule are particularly important
How the right aircraft is identified
When we receive a private jet charter request, the first step is to understand what the aircraft actually needs to do. Distance, number of passengers and baggage are only some of the factors to consider. The assessment may include departure and arrival airports, runway characteristics, required range, timings, availability of the specific aircraft, the jet’s current location, potential onward sectors, overnight stays, number of sectors and the cabin specifications required. In some cases, it may also be relevant to integrate the flight with a helicopter transfer. Depending on the requirements, different aircraft categories may be considered:- light jet
- midsize jet
- heavy jet
- ultra long range
- VIP airliner
Airports, destinations and itineraries
One of the advantages of private aviation is the ability to consider a wider network of airports than those normally served by scheduled airlines. This does not mean that every airport can automatically be used. Feasibility depends on the aircraft, airport infrastructure, runway characteristics, operating conditions, required authorisations and availability. For this reason, when a client specifies a departure or arrival city, we also consider alternative airports that may make the flight more efficient. A secondary airport can be useful if it reduces ground transfer time or allows the schedule to be managed more effectively, while in other cases the originally requested airport remains the most appropriate choice. Requests may include domestic and international connections, return flights, open-jaw itineraries, multi-leg programmes and journeys involving multiple destinations. For a PA or Travel Manager, this means being able to present the entire travel programme at the request stage, rather than looking at a single flight sector in isolation. To explore the possibilities for connecting airports and destinations, you can also visit our section dedicated to private jets and helicopters from airports and destinations, where you will find further pages covering the private aviation network.Combining private jets and helicopters
On some itineraries, the private jet is only one part of the journey. When the final destination is not easily accessible from the airport used by the jet, or when a ground transfer would compromise the overall efficiency of the programme, a combination of private jet and helicopter may be considered. The jet can cover the main part of the journey, while the helicopter completes the connection to a resort, private property, coastal destination, yacht or another location compatible with the required operations. In other cases, the helicopter segment may come before the private jet flight, connecting the passenger to the departure point of the main flight. This combination can be particularly useful for multi-leg itineraries, when the programme includes several destinations or when time spent on the ground represents a significant part of the journey. It is not, however, a solution to be added automatically: it is proposed only when it offers a clear advantage over the available alternatives. When the itinerary requires it, we can also coordinate helicopter charter, assessing the feasibility of the helicopter segment and integrating it with the rest of the programme. For a broader overview of helicopter connections available in Italy, you can also consult our section on helicopter flights in Italy.Passengers, baggage, comfort and personalised services
The number of passengers, baggage weight and volume, sports equipment, musical instruments, pets and other specific requirements can all influence the choice of aircraft and the operational conditions of the flight. For this reason, it is useful to provide this information at the request stage. The cabin configuration can also be relevant. When required, we can check the availability of Wi-Fi, power outlets, work tables, seating configuration, additional space and other specific aircraft features.Catering can be arranged according to the flight duration and passengers’ preferences, including specific dietary requirements. If you are travelling with a pet, it is important to let us know before confirmation, as conditions and documentation may vary depending on the aircraft, operator and destination. When required, we can also coordinate the services needed to complete the journey, including:- chauffeur-driven transfers and private ground transportation
- VIP Meet & Assist and airport lounges, where available
- catering and specific dietary requirements
- handling of pets, sports equipment and special baggage
- transfers to and from hotels, yachts, private villas and resorts
- hotel bookings
- helicopter connections
Privacy, confidentiality and discretion
Privacy can be one of the reasons for choosing a private flight. It may simply be the ability to travel in a more private environment, or it may relate to professional requirements, the nature of the journey or the people involved. Private aviation can also, where operational conditions allow, provide access to airports and terminals dedicated to private aviation. This can be particularly relevant for executives, entrepreneurs, families, Family Offices, professionals and those arranging travel on behalf of others. The handling of the request also requires care: information relating to passengers, itineraries, timings, accommodation and related services is handled as part of the request process, in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable requirements. When required, we can coordinate the flight, ground transfers, hotels, helicopter services and other arrangements through a single point of contact. Discretion therefore concerns not only the journey itself, but also how the request is managed and how the necessary information is shared with the parties involved.Quotes and FlairFly’s role
To start a private jet charter quote, we only need a few essential details:
- preferred date and time
- departure location or airport
- destination
- number of passengers
- baggage details, where possible
If available, it is useful to include some flexibility around the timing, a preferred or alternative airport, any pets, equipment, catering requirements, ground transfers, helicopter connections and onward sectors. Even an initial request with limited information can be enough to start the assessment.
FlairFly reviews the information provided and checks the available options with qualified air operators, taking into account aircraft availability, route feasibility, operational requirements, positioning and the conditions applicable to the flight.
The quotation is based on the specific solution that has been verified. The cost is therefore not simply an hourly rate and may depend on the aircraft category and model, availability, route, aircraft positioning, number of sectors, airports used, airport and handling charges, crew, overnight stays or waiting time, and any additional services requested.
When all the necessary information is available and operators are able to respond within the required timeframe, our operational objective is to provide a quotation within one hour. The reference to 24/7 assistance and quotes within one hour is an operational objective, not a guarantee of availability or response time, which depends on the complexity of the request and the confirmation times of the operators involved.
To arrange a private jet charter, contact us with your date, route and number of passengers. We will start assessing the solution most suitable for your request.
Experience and independence in air charter brokerage
FlairFly was founded in 2026, building on experience gained in air charter brokerage since 2011, through private flight requests, charter operations and transfers with different operational requirements.
FlairFly operates as an independent broker and is not tied to a specific fleet or operator. For each request, we can therefore assess the solutions available through qualified operators, comparing aircraft, configurations and operating conditions according to the specific itinerary.
This experience allows us to assess each request by considering the full range of factors that can affect the organisation of a flight, from aircraft availability and suitable airports to positioning, passenger requirements and related services.
For commercial air transport flights, the operator carrying out the flight must hold the authorisations required under the applicable regulations. In Italy, ENAC publishes the current list of national operators holding a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
This approach is particularly useful when a flight is being arranged on behalf of another person or organisation. Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Family Offices, concierges and travel advisors can have a single point of contact for coordinating availability, quotations, ground services and the other elements required for the request.
FlairFly’s role does not replace that of the air operator. The flight is operated by the qualified operator selected for the journey, which retains operational responsibility for the flight in accordance with the applicable authorisations and requirements. At European level, the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) is the certificate that allows an operator to conduct specified commercial air transport operations.
FlairFly is responsible for assessing the request, researching and verifying available solutions, and coordinating between the client and the parties involved.
When the journey requires it, we can coordinate the aircraft, airports, ground transfers, helicopters and related services through a single point of contact. Some concrete examples can be found in the section dedicated to private aviation operations coordinated by FlairFly.
